TidyPepple for Android
The Android app is available right here as an APK, not on the Play Store. It shows the same app as the browser, but keeps your tasks in the app's own storage: clearing your browsing data in Chrome leaves them alone. You buy the sync subscription just like on the web.

Install
On your phone, tap “Download APK” and open the file once the download has finished. The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps. Allow it for this browser (“Install unknown apps”) and carry on.
Google Play Protect may show a warning because the app does not come from the Play Store. That is normal for apps outside Play. Choose “Install anyway”, or check the checksums above first.
Updates
Content and new features arrive without an update: the app loads the current version from app.tidypepple.com every time it starts. When the app itself changes, it shows a notice linking to this page. Install the new APK over the old one; your tasks stay.
Your data
Without sync, your tasks live only in this app on this device. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes them. Back them up with sync, or export them regularly under Settings → Data.
Check the file
To make sure the file has not been altered, compare the checksums above with those of the downloaded file. The certificate is the same for every version.
